My 1982 Chevrolet Camaro, which I bought on July 21, 1998
for $700, is a V6, 4 speed manaul. Even thought it was so
cheap it's in great shape.
The guy before me put a brand new clutch in it, as well as
new tires. Hardly any rust. Since I bought it I have replaced
the exhaust manifold ($80),
driver side seat belt ($10), redone the headliner ($134),
put part of a spoiler on ($20) (this is before), ---->
<---- now that I have this spoiler on, I want one of
those big after market ones
(if I can find one).
replaced the muffler ($100), front brakes ($30), back coil
springs ($30), back shocks ($54), front struts ($80), weather
stripping for back hatch ($80), heater core ($30), power
steering pump [I'm on my third since I bought the car] ($45).

In addition to all this, I have added blue lights
under the dash, over the rear passengers, and in the front nose.
I also replaced the stock radio with a Kenwood tape deck with CD
Changer controls, as well as all speakers no name(but they gave
off excellent sound).
I also got louvers for the back hatch
for $40 (I put this picture up cause everyone asks how easily
I can see through them, now you know).
I've also gotten a new radiator ($180), I wasn't happy with the
muffler I had origianlly put on, so I got a dual muffler and
pipe between muffler and cat. ($450).
I got rid of the Kenwood deck, and added a Pioneer Premier
Series CD Player ($400), with a 12" Rockford Punch Sub
(second hand from cousin $80), a 200 Watt Sony amplifier,
(which was given to my dad, and he wasn't going to us it
so it was free), in the back 2 6"x9" 220 Watt 3 way Pioneer
speakers ($220), and in the front 2 6"x4" 3 way Coustic
40 Watt speakers (on sale $100), which badly need to be
replaced, because the deck puts out 45 Watts to each speaker.
I have also replaced the back brake pads, and drums, as well
as the rear brake cylinders (total $150). Even the starter
had to be replaced for $150. Most recently I've had the
Carbeurator rebuilt for $225, which has made it run better
than the day I bought it. I got 2 used tires from a 1966
Mustang (which a drunk driver smashed into a pole, and my
dad was parting out) which replaced my back 2 tires which
were really bald.
